Teenagers and Texting

Recently my husband and I had to turn off texting on our teenagers cell phone because he was recieving inappropriate text messages from some girls in his class. I would love to know how other Mom's feel about teenagers and texting and how they would have handled the situation.

Let's talk about Dogs!!

OK so first of all I am not an animal lover, I think they are cute and I love to pet them when they belong to someone else, well my husband and my children have wanted a dog for years so I told them that when we got a fence and when the baby was walking we could get a dog, so last January we got a dog, and can I just say that he is the bane of my existence, he was really easy to potty train, however about twice a week he decides to mark his territory all over my bed and my sons bed. So to all of my animal loving friends how do I learn to love and accept this dog?

Hello, my name is Collette and for those of you who know me you know how much I like to talk, and that I am also a good listener, I wanted to start a place where I could go to share my real feelings about what it is like to be a wife and a Mother, I also want this to be a place where other Mother's could come and share their real feelings about being a Mother too as I know I am not alone in this world and that my way of doing things is not always the right way to do things. (although a lot of times I like to think that it is.) I hope that from this site I can gain more knowledge and wisdom on how to be a better Mother, Wife and Friend. I am not a writer by any means, I have horrible grammar so let me apologize for this from the get go.
